Install Muse4AI
Install Muse4AI with the Windows EXE or ZIP package, handle SmartScreen safely, and keep your data when updating.
Before you start
- Use Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- Have the Muse4AI EXE installer or ZIP package from a source you trust.
- If updating, right-click the app's tray icon and choose Quit first. Closing the window with X only minimizes it to the tray.
1Choose EXE or ZIP
For the simplest route, open the EXE installer, choose English or Tiếng Việt, and follow its instructions. For ZIP installation, extract the whole package into a folder first.
2Check any Windows warning
The app is not code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn you. Only if you trust the package, choose More info → Run anyway. Do not continue with a package whose checksum check fails.
3Run PowerShell if using ZIP
Skip this step if you used the EXE. In the extracted folder, type
powershellin File Explorer's address bar and press Enter. Run the command below. It does not change the machine's saved execution policy.powershell powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install.ps14Check the install and data locations
The app installs to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Muse4AI. Its data stays in%APPDATA%\MuseStudiowhen you install an update, including accounts, settings, queue, and library records. Downloaded results use the library folder you choose.5Continue with first-run setup
The installer opens the app. If this is your first installation, follow the welcome setup in First open.
Check it worked
Muse4AI opens from its shortcut. A first installation shows the welcome setup; an update keeps your existing data.
If it doesn't work
The installer says the app is still running. What now?
Quit from the tray icon, not the window's X button, then run the installer again.
The package does not match its checksums. Should I continue?
No. The package may be damaged or modified. Download a fresh copy from a trusted source.
The new version will not open. What can I do?
See Updates and backups before rolling back. Older versions may not read data upgraded by a newer version.
